The areas served by Tokyu Lines are positioned in the southwest of Tokyo where 15% of the Metropolitan Area population is concentrated. Approximately 70% of our assets are concentrated in Shibuya and the areas served by Tokyu lines. We aim to further improve area value through concentrated investments in the areas.
We are carrying out development according to attributes of each area served by Tokyu Lines.
Office rent levels in Shibuya Ward are growing at a rate higher than the average of the five central wards of Tokyo.
In the Shibuya area, the Tokyu Group is promoting development mainly around the station area, and will continue to promote urban development to enhance the attractiveness of the Shibuya area under the strategy of Greater Shibuya 2.0.
Based on the business know-how we have cultivated in areas served by Tokyu lines, we are also driving business outside the areas.
Built on a basis of safety, the airport management business has a high degree of affinity with the transportation business. Thus, we are carrying out contracts for the management of airports in various regions.
We are also developing our business overseas by leveraging our strengths, such as urban development in suburban cities based on our experience in the Tokyu Tama Den-en-toshi project.
